General Rules and Guidelines for Bermuda Heroes Weekend (BHW) Events:
All Sales whether on this website, partner websites or in person are final. No refunds will be issued without the expressed permission of a Director of BHW Ltd.
The events are designed to include all age appropriate individuals or groups in order to promote enjoyment by both locals and visitors alike in compliance with the laws of Bermuda.
All individuals who are NOT in compliance with these Laws will be dealt with by the Bermuda Police Service who will be present at all events enforcing the law.
There is will be NO TOLERANCE OF DRINKING OF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES BY A MINOR (anyone under the age of 18) at any BHW event. The Security team and the Bermuda Police Force will strictly enforce this RULE.
A parent or an adult must accompany minors at all times to approved events.
All groups/individuals MUST comply with all event specifications pertaining to start/finish times and MUST disperse the premises once the event is finish in an orderly and timely manner as to NOT to disturb the wellbeing of the neighborhood.
Any visible abuse of alcohol, public indecency or unlawful conduct will result in the individual being expelled from the event by SAS Security and/or the Bermuda Police Service.
*BHW and its Partners WILL NOT be held liable for individuals/groups who are NOT in compliance with the above General Rules and Guidelines, and the Laws of Bermuda and whom sustain harm to themselves or others.
BHW Ltd reserves to right to refuse entry and/or the ability to participate to any patron(s).
Friday Concert Disclaimer:
All participants will be allowed in the general crowd areas. Only designated individuals will be allowed in the performer’s, hospitality and VIP areas.
Alcoholic beverages will be sold by BHW Ltd. and ONLY these beverages will be allowed in venue area. Persons leaving this area MUST discard of their alcoholic drink.
A minor in compliance with Bermuda Laws CANNOT consume ALCOHOL during this event.
All individuals MUST conduct themselves in compliance with Bermuda laws. All unruly individuals/groups will be expelled/or potentially arrested by the Bermuda Police Service.
INDIVIDUALS UNDER THE AGE OF 18 WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO PARTICIPATE.
All participants’ vehicles will be allowed to park in the designated parking areas.
BHW Ltd WILL NOT be held liable if anyone goes outside the designated J’Ouvert area. These individuals will be responsible for their own safety and any damage to property incurred.
DO NOT BRING alcoholic or other beverages to J’Ouvert.
Please ensure that you have a designated driver if you are travelling in a private vehicle. BHW Ltd. will be providing limited transportation for this event.
BHW will provide a safe and enjoyable environment to participate in and WILL NOT be held liable for any damages caused to property or individuals by others.
Parade of Bands Disclaimer:
Only Registered bands/groups will be allowed on the parade route & staging area. All other paid spectators will be allowed into the finish area.
Bands/Groups are responsible for providing their own security/safety marshals. These marshals must identify themselves to the designated BHW parade marshal for their group.
Spectators will not be allowed to join with the masqueraders/participants along the parade route.
Any visible abuse of alcohol, public indecency or unlawful conduct will result in the individual(s) being expelled from the parade by BHW Security team and/or the Bermuda Police Service.
Each band/group is responsible for the conduct of their band/participants and is required to ensure lawful conduct and strict adherence to all stipulated Rules & Guidelines of Bermuda Heroes Weekend and Bermuda Laws.
Pan in the Park Disclaimer:
Designated a family event for all ages.
No Alcohol beverages will be sold at this event.
All participants and spectators must comply with the general rules and Regulation of BHW Ltd.
BHW Ltd. shall be completely held harmless against any and all liability, loss of life and/or property, damage or expense, including, without limitation, attorney’s fees and cost of litigation, resulting from any and all swimming or boating accidents or incidents occurring at the raft up.
All Participants MUST comply with Maritime Laws when using a boat around this event.
All Participants MUST stay clear of the Comet racing route, which will be identified on that day.
